Upon releasing their chicken sandwich, fast-food chain Popeye’s created an uproar on social media. Heated debates between fast-food fans have turned into a full out #ChickenSandwichWar on twitter. Luckily for Popeye’s, the war and the many mentions of their chicken sandwich on Twitter have generated an estimated $23 million in advertisements for the company.

    Sonny & Sons is opening today in Indy, by top chef winner Kevin Sbraga who is famous in Philly for bringing AMAZING hot chicken to the foodie scene here with the ever-missed Fat Ham restaurant. It’s sure to be a hit and we hope he makes his way back to his hometown. Show him some love!

    Antone’s in Houston is not black owned. They named the chicken sandwich after bun b AFTER this chicken sandwich craze began.
