As the number of states legalizing marijuana steadily increases, African Americans are slowly but surely carving out their own space within the billion dollar industry. Since Blacks have been disproportionately criminalized for marijuana possession for decades, it’s refreshing to see more take hold of the industry and claim it. These Black entrepreneurs are at the forefront of that movement.

I am encouraged by all the comments regarding wishes to INVEST in this or any business, especially BLACK owned businesses.
I have been trying for years to gather a group of people to have discussions on forming an organization that pools money to invest in businesses.
I created a website ournewblackwallstreet.com that sits idle for lack of interest and would love to engage as many people as possible to carry on discussions like the ones going on here.
We could generate investment funds and resources to answer these and many more questions and for those who are into empire building, this is a golden opportunity to not just get in on the ground floor of an industry but to CREATE it and then dominate it.
PLEASE meet me here or there and lets at least toss some ideas around.
The answers to our questions may be found among us if just a handful or us can just come together for a few minutes.

Hello Charles:
You could look at the licensing requirements in the states that have already legalized. Oregon has a comprehensive set of regulations, guides, and so on. Look also at medical dispensaries, because in most states medical comes first and existing dispensaries have an edge when recreational licensing opens up.
